World Politics
Hello all, we are starting this “World Politics” series to analyse what is politics, how it plays important role in everyone’s life, are there really any rules for politics and how was politics played in the history, how the external countries play politics and try to gain out of that. We will also analyse the impact of the such political behaviours of the countries on the world or on themselves with examples. So, what is politics? Really there is no definition of politics; however, roughly, a series of such actions of a country/individual, resulted out of some hidden/open intensions of gaining something, conquering, taking revenge, competing, governing, defending, attacking, making governing laws and maintaining it or any such intensions which will serve the interest of the world / country / territory / person / nature / animals / non-living thing etc., Does that mean politics is a ‘lie’? No not always but may be sometimes it is. We all common people only come to know about the intension, when the target is achieved or missed, when the leaders discuss it later or law investigates and proves it. Example, Osama Bin Laden was a good engineer and influencer as well. He was brought by USA to fight with Russia. He did it well, Russia discontinued the cold and actual war in Afghanistan. Later USA invaded Afghanistan and then the whole world came to know that Osama was the step of a ladder used by USA against Russia to dismiss Russian politics and interference on influence from the central Asia. When Osama came to know it, he knew the routes to USA. He attacked USA and 9/11 incident happened. The rest history is well known. USA then started searching Osama in Afghanistan. They literally trashed Afghanistan for 20 years, bombed them, shelled them. Finally, USA found Osama but not in Afghanistan; in Pakistan. Then USA quietly entered Pakistan territory and shot Osama who was trying to hide behind one of his wives. Army shot ‘wife of Osama’ in her leg, she falls down and American soldier took a shot at Osama who was hiding behind her. Now you can imagine the intensions of USA and Pakistan as well. Also, look at a series of incidents made by USA to keep its upper hand in the region. Stronger the politics and political leaders, better will be the world with that country. This is because you show the world its real value, may be not quickly, slowly but surely. Then the world remains in their limits because they cannot afford to go against of such strong polity. Example, Japan. It has the world’s strongest passport in the world. Practically all the countries accept the visa on arrival policy for Japanese Passport. Why is it so? Because of its leadership Honestly, there is nothing like rules in Politics. At a given time, given situation, given involvement of the countries, the country takes decisions in the best interest of their own public. So, honestly in politics, there is nothing like good-bad, right-wrong, fair-unfair, friendship-enmity, protector-destroyer/apostate, true-false, truth-untruth, ethical-unethical etc. Countries chose their decisions based on their interests and experiences. People simply believe what their government showcases them, news and entertainment media tell them, mouth to mouth publicity shows them, preachers that fill their mind with certain type of ‘philosophy’ etc. Then people start making their wilful perception; wilful to the influencer’s intentions, not the people’s own perception or beliefs or thoughts. A true politician uses such influencing techniques to make people believe what he wants them believe. The Same people will then make it big and build international belief and put forward the same agenda of that politician. A great politician is that who can influence the world well. Example, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, many US presidents like George Washington, Indian PM Bharat Ratna awardee Late Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. Negative influencers are Hitler, Alexander, Chinese president Mao etc. Today we will discuss about such unwritten, unrecognised but widely followed rules in ‘Politics’. These rules are based on past political incidents. Since we are discussing about world politics, we will not discuss much about local or inter country politics. However, wherever it is necessary to discuss local politics, I will discuss it. There are simple and most common intentions behind the politics. The list is as below. This is not exhaustive list but inclusive. Some points are important as per your views and so please take it as difference of opinions. These intension needs no explanation, indeed. Based on the intensions, the countries form behavioural pattern. This behavioural pattern force countries to take series of actions. These actions form unwritten rules. These actions, if proven successful, suggest follow the rule; if it is complete/partial failure it suggests not to follow it. Such suggestion of whether to follow the actions or not, are nothing but unwritten rules of politics or how was politics played in the history. In the history, countries played politics by using below unwritten rules – Let me know in your comment, what do you think about these rules and also let me know if you want to add any new rule.
